the works
Creative thinking with purpose — I turn ideas into polished visual work that feels clear, intentional, and built to make an impact.
Project Introduction
Leaf Collection is one of DPW’s largest and most visible seasonal operations. Each year, residents need to understand when collection will reach their neighborhood, how to prepare their leaves, what to expect during each pass and where to find updates as operations progress.
Across multiple Leaf Collection seasons, I developed the campaign art and promotional materials used to introduce the program, explain the process, share schedules and keep residents informed.
The work required more than creating a single seasonal graphic. Each campaign needed a complete visual system that could support several months of planned communications, weekly reminders and changing operational information.

Project Introduction
The DC Department of Public Works provides a wide range of essential city services, including trash and recycling collection, parking enforcement, street sweeping, leaf collection, snow response and waste diversion.
With so many services, programs and seasonal operations competing for attention, the homepage needed to do more than present information. It needed to help residents quickly understand where to go, what action to take and how to access the services they use most.
I led the complete redesign of the DPW homepage, handling the user experience, content and data organization, page structure, visual design, imagery and final launch.

Project Introduction
For a public works agency, social media is more than a marketing channel. It is part of how residents receive service information, prepare for seasonal operations, understand agency programs and respond to changing conditions across the city.
I manage DPW’s social media and digital engagement strategy, translating a wide range of services and operational information into content that is clear, timely, visually consistent and useful to DC residents.
The work includes everyday service reminders, public education campaigns, emergency communications, seasonal operations, workforce stories, community engagement, graphic design, video production and performance analysis.
